Dear Mark,
Thank you for the review of Noises Off. You
were right on about the set
design. It was treacherous to work on, but I really felt bad
for Bob, the
set designer. It is hard to work full time, learn your lines
and build the
set. We actors sometimes take on too much for no money. It is
something in
your blood and you must do it. We are all just thankful for the
opportunity
to perform. I think it was a fair review and I really appreciated
the
courtesy you gave us in talking to David Plummer after the show.
Please put me on your E mail list or send me
a notice of when and where your
play will be put on in the fall. I really enjoyed going to the
reading. Let
me know if I can be of any help to you.
Sincerely,
Sharon Yormick (Belinda/Flavia in Noises Off
- Julia in Sabrina Fair)
Hey, Sharon,
This is so weird! I've never received two positive emails for a show to which I've given two stars.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my site. I'm glad that the cast and crew felt it was a fair review. I will always try to be supportive to community theatre.
Thanks also for your support of my playwriting. Unfortunately, it seems to be taking a backseat to work and reviewing recently, but I'm hoping that this summer will give me the chance to make the revisions I'm planning for Critical Mass. I will definitely tell you if and when it is read or mounted.
I hope to see you in another production soon.
Cheers,
