Dear Mr. Turvin,
Thank you so much for taking the time to come and review Actor's Renaissance's production of Bard Variations last Friday. We all appreciated your presence there. Thank you also for stating that the small audience was a shame- hopefully that comment will get more people to come out and see our work! I agreed with the majority of your review, but, in defense of James Bernard, I would like to express my opinion: Personally, I feel that his works were extremely original and well thought-out. However, I do appreciate your views, for they give insight into what others might feel upon attending the performance.

I was disappointed to hear that you will not be attending "The Taming of the Shrew". The concept of the show is incredibly unique and many of the performances are shaping up to be quite interesting. I would love to hear your take on it, so if you have the time, please consider coming to see it. I think that you will enjoy it. Once again, thanks for everything, and I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Kim Parmon

Ms. Parmon,

Thank you for your letter. I appreciate your defense of Mr. Bernard. I would say that you are absolutely right: his works are very original and thought-out, but I believe too thought-out, leaving the realm of drama, and entering into intellectual theories that lack a dramatic focus. I'm sorry I'll be unable to see The Taming of the Shrew. I am working as Assistant Director for Theater Works upcoming production of My Favorite Year, and my time is very limited.

I hope the crowds were better for you this weekend. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you trotting the boards again soon.
