Is What It Is Theatre to Present What
I Did Last SummerIs What It Is Theatre will present What I Did Last Summer by A.R.Gurney. Performances are August 17 through Sept. 1, every Friday and Saturday night at 8 pm. There will be one matinee on Sunday, August 26, at 2 pm.
Performances are at STUDIO ONE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, 4520 East Thomas Road, just west of 46th Street on the north side of Thomas. Studio One is behind Alex Optical and Dragon Buffett.
Tickets are $12 adult, $10 students, senior, and military, and $8 in groups of 10 or more.
This is one of Gurney's best. Traditional and artistic mores clash in stateside World War II, as 14-year-old Charlie Higgins tries to realize his potential under the guidance of the town pariah, The Pig Woman.
