Dear Mr Turvin
I am a 15 year old "actor" in the state of Arizona, and have done many shows around the valley. I am writing you today, to tell you, that I think that you should still review children's theatre. I feel that it is very important to the young actors tofday, to hear comments about themselves or their show, it gives them a feeling of importance, that they are really doing somthing, and not just wasting their spare time.
Valley Youth Theatre, says that they are a profesional youth theatre, and believe me, they are, I have worked with them before, and they are amazing, but a theatre that amazing, should definately be reviewed (even the smaller ones, not at the herberger). I know you have a past with them, but I still feel that this is necessary. I am not going to give my name, I just want you to think of this, not as an E mail from a young person, but one from the entire youth theatre community. thank you for you time, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Sir or Madame,

Thank you for your well-articulated and impassioned plea. However, I am going to stay with my original statement of not reviewing Youth Theatre. I am a big supporter of youth theatre, to the point that I am now working with Bobb Cooper on Little Shop of Horrors as a Dramaturg. It is my hope that I can continue to work in this capacity with Bobb, and perhaps with other youth theatres in town.

I still feel that reviews can be more detrimental than is good for young people who are learning their task. I believe my efforts would be better spent working with youth theatres to create, and not writing about the final product.

Thank you for your taking the time to read my reviews, and I hope to see you onstage soon.
