Synopsis of Play: Set in a rural area of Virginia, Grace and Glorie is a touching and funny story of two ordinary women and their extraordinary lives. Grace a strong and fiercely independent "country woman of 90 years and a recent cancer patient, has returned to her beloved homestead cottage to die alone. Glorie a tense, guilt ridden, volunteer hospice worker, recently transplanted from New York City suddenly appears to deliver the pain medications Grace has willfully left at the hospital. As their very different lives intertwine we see each gain new perspectives on the beauty
of life,s highs and lows.
