BROADWAY PALM DINNER THEATRE PRESENTS HONK!

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is proud to present the award-winning London musical Honk!, playing August 28 - September 27. The new musical is a comic and contemporary re-telling of the Hans-Christian Andersenâs fairy tale The Ugly Duckling. $15.00 for kids 15 and under, fun for all ages, this musical is sure to be a hit. In 1999, Honk! won the Olivier award for Best Musical in London.

Honk! will be directed by resident Artistic Producer, Seth Reines. Seth has directed a number of box office hits this past sensational season including Ragtime, South Pacific and Fiddler on the Roof. This is the second production of Honk! that Seth has been involved with and he is very excited to be bringing this piece to the Valley.

Andersen's "Ugly Duckling" is such a perfect tale for encouraging individuality and tolerance, itâs surprising it hasnât been adapted for the stage before. Honk! is the first one out of the shell and it is so utterly charming if will be a tough act to follow. Honk! closes out the Second Sensational Season for Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. Once again Broadway Palm has thrived through another year and the theatre is excited to continue bringing professional Broadway-style shows to the Valley of the Sun.

In the musical Honk! the role of Ugly will be played by Broadway Palm favorite, Adam Enright, who recently charmed audiences in the role of Motel during Fiddler on the Roof. Other Broadway Palm favorites will quack onto the stage during the production of Honk! In the role of the Hilarious Cat will be Barry Anderson, who recently stole audiences hearts in the role of the Scarecrow in this summers the Wizard of Oz. Denny McNamara will play many roles as the Turkey, Jay Bird, Barnacles, Bullfrog and Father Swan and Elizabeth Loos will play the roles of Grace, Dot, Lowbutt and Bewick. Local children, who will sing and dance along with the other animals on stage as ducklings and froglets, will be Brookie Allen, Jonnie Allen, Shayna Moellenberg, Alex Starks, Sarah Toller, Lindsay Wantland and Diana Woodruff.

Honk! plays at the Broadway Palm from August 28 - September 27 and is the perfect musical for the entire family! For this family fun show Kids 15 and under are just $15.00 for buffet and performance.
