Subject: unflinching gratitude is not typically my style...but

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that tonight after reading your
two new reviews, that I have really enjoyed your comments since
finding your site about 6 months ago; and I think your dedication
to supporting valley productions is impressive. There is simply
not enough theatre here (though I wonder if you agree with me,
being a busy critic as opposed to an often bored audience member)
and very few honest and, well, just plain good reviews to read
of those productions. Thanks again, and as cheesey as it sounds,
keep up the good work. ~Andrea
Andrea,
I thank you very much for your wonderful email. It's good to
know that someone is reading what I write, and I'm not just indulging
my own obsessions.
While I do wish there were more theatre here in town, and am
saddened when companies disappear and talent flees to more supportive
pastures, I am always impressed with the great work that comes
from all levels of theatre. Sure, there are clinkers, but for
a city that cares so little for its performing arts and artists,
we still have a better track record than we think.
Thanks again for taking the time to write to me, and I hope
to see you at an opening night sometime. If you see me during
an intermission, please feel free to say hello!
Cheers,
